  What a talented group of children we have at St Philip's! Well done to all our contestants especially Morgan who walked away with this year's trophy as well as a lucrative Hollywood contract.
  Thanks got to the school council for all their organising and to our three judges, Rev Marie-Anne, Mr Jackson and Mrs Lymath.

  

• Sports Day

  We had a wonderful afternoon of sporting fun this Monday at Meols Cop High School.
  Many thanks to our Sports Cube team, Darryl and Jonno for organising the events. Special thanks to the Association too, for providing much needed refreshment. The children were hot, exhausted and delighted with their various activities.

  Thank you to our Year 6 stars who put on a spectacular show this evening at St Philip's Church. What a talented group of children! Our thanks also to the team behind the show, Mrs Bond, Mr Greenwood, Mrs Owen and Jamie Bond.

  

• Morgan - Dance Finalist!

  Morgan, Year 3, has got through to the finals of the Dream Maker Dance Events 2016 in Modern, Tap, Ballet and Street.  The competition is tomorrow, 12th July.  We wish Morgan the very best of luck in all her dances!

  

• Choir at Greenbank High School

  Our choir made us very proud last night when they attended a Musical Extravaganza at Greenbank High School. We performed Fight Song by Rachel Platten and then joined all the other schools and the Greenbank Orchestra for the grand finale of Happy by Pharrell Williams.

• Green Machine Presentation

  Our thanks to all members of the school council who have worked so hard on Our Green Machine projects at King's Gardens this year. We were really proud of Charles and Freya who spoke so confidently to a big audience of children, families and Headteachers on Wednesday July 6th at Greenbank High School. They were real superstars!
