BBC Breakfast News comes to Year 5!

On Thursday 9th March, we welcomed BBC Breakfast News into school to film Emily ahead of her presenting the Queen with her Commonwealth Message at Buckingham Palace for the start of the baton relay for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Year 5 had a PE lesson, learning to improve their technique for running and passing batons. After that, the BBC came and filmed the work on Commonwealth countries that we were doing in class and they interviewed Emily.

Wow! What an honour for Emily to meet the Queen, and for all of Year 5 to be involved too. We're so proud of you Emily.
