Home Access

Children's log ins to online learning resources have been printed and stuck on the front of homework books. By subscribing to these amazing providers, we enable learning to be easily accessible at home as it is in school. Please contact if ever you need assistance with this. 

Reading 

As a reading school, we expect 3 entries in reading logs from home each week. Year 4 staff will be reading with children each week and be updating these so please let us know how fantastic reading is at home! 

Homework

Set on Friday. To be handed in Tuesday. Missing / incomplete homework will be completed over lunchtimes. 

Spellings

Test day is Wednesday. Scores will be recorded on the inside cover of purple homework books. 

PE

Please come into school prepared for PE. It is navy pants/shorts/jumper and white top. Black/white trainers and no jewellery. If you must keep earrings in, please seal with tape over ears. I expect all children to be able to partake in PE unless contacted directly.  

Music

Children will have the great opportunity to have Sefton's Wiper Ops music curriculum taught in school. We offer a chance for children to have a brass instrument on a loan scheme. This means instruments will be available to loan from school to go home and practice. Make your best efforts to remember instruments on TUESDAYS as precious Teacher's and Teaching Assistant's time is taken away from learning to contact home.
