Tag Rugby Triumph! (20-6-14)

A team of Year 4 children, with two guest stars from Year 3, played some outstanding rugby today as they swept aside all opposition to win a primary school tournament at Southport Rugby Club. With wins against Holy Family, Kew Woods, Our Lady of Lourdes, Norwood and St John's, Crossens, there was simply no stopping the St Philip's steamroller. With some close games, played in a wonderful spirit, it was a day to be proud of and many thanks go to parents, organisers, supporters and other schools - and especially to Mr and Mrs Fusco for the ride home in style!
