Year 2 had a fantastic time at the 'Make It Workshop'. We took part in a range of crafts, making our own school banner and a range of cards. The staff were extremely helpful and were as enthusiastic as the children. They provided all resources and even a drink and biscuit!
We explored the shops and saw telephones that were as old as the Titanic, funny ones and retro 'phones. There were even some old but working typewriters.
Then we went off to Broadhursts' book shop. We were given a guide of all floors, including the attic! Kate read us some fantastic stories and gave us a wonderful 'goody bag' each to take home.
We were tired but very happy when we returned to school.
What a wonderful morning!
