MR DAVIS LIGHTS UP THE CLASSROOM!

To support our work on light and shadows we were delighted to welcome a real scientist, Mr Davis, to Year 3 recently.

He brought with him loads of amazing scientific gadgets which helped us understand how the length of shadows change throughout the year.

He also brought in his laser machine which we were able to play with. It was great to use our mirrors and reflect lasers across the classroom! We even learnt the word 'refraction' as light was seen to spread in all different directions.

Thank you for all your great ideas Mr Davis. You are welcome any time when you are not working on your latest invention!!
