Below is the domain specific vocabulary which has been produced alongside the Charanga music scheme that we as a school adopt, from EYFS to Key Stage 2. This document gives an indication of the words that we want children to become familiar with during each stage of their musical journey throughout school. They show the kind of language staff will use and explain in lessons to broaden pupils' music vocabulary and understanding. The foundational elements of music will be continually revisited throughout each year, in order to build and deepen learning over time.
