Here's Year 4 giving their lungs and instruments a workout for the start of the Wider Opportunities Programme 2019-20
It was the last opportunity this year for our school band to show off their skills at the School Fair! Lots of practice and then a live performance- look out for the quick change in music!
Here are Year 1 again, celebrating the 1960's this time and the music of the Beatles during their class worship.
Year 1 are having a great time finding out how to make an "accompaniment" and listening to each other.
Our Early Years have enjoyed "feeling the pulse" and having their own class band!
Year 5 performing 'Jazzy Jinks' with other local schools led by the Sefton music service
Our musicians have worked really hard to prepare for this year's Christmas events. The choir are attending five different venues this year and the School Band will be playing as part of our end of term service. It is thanks to the children's enthusiasm, hard work and enjoyment of their lessons that we continue to be able to perform so often. Thanks also go to parents for their support and encouragement to the children.
The Choir and Band enjoyed playing at the Summer Fayre
Our School Band and Year 4 went to the Floral Hall to play alongside Wingates Brass Band and the Sefton Youth band on 29th June. Here we are practising.
And here's the event!
Beatlemania- all the hits from the 60's in Year 1
