Eddy the Teddy came to school last week with a problem. He had come to school in the rain and got very wet because he did not have a coat! In Science, children had to decide on the best material to make Eddy the Teddy a coat. They decided that the material had to be waterproof so planned a simple investigation, with the help of our Science friend 'Discovery Dog'. Children then carried out the investigation in small groups and decided that the plastic material would be the best to make Eddy his coat. Some children were worried that the coat would not be warm enough so suggested sticking fur or wool inside to keep him warm as well.
