Welcome to Year 3, you're now in the Juniors!

Please come back and visit our page regularly for updates on what we have been doing in school. We have now created individual sections on our page to make it easier for you to see what we are up to. Please be advised that now you are in the juniors not all children are entitled to a free school meal as this is a KS1 initiative.

World in Motion! 9th July 2018

World Cup Fever has hit Year 3! We watched a powerpoint about World Cup Music and we then watched the "World in Motion" Music video featuring a rap by John Barnes, one of the England Team Players from the World Cup in 1996.

We then had a go at writing our own rap to go in an England World Cup song. MC Year 3 in the house!

Pizza Express - 19th June 2018

We had a lovely time on our Visit to Pizza Express.

We learnt how to flatten the dough, toss the pizza, put tomato sauce and cheese on and then the chefs went to cook them.

We then learnt about mozzarella cheese, red onions, black olives, basil, mushrooms and tomatoes and were able to taste each ingredient. We were very impressed at how adventurous the children were in having a taste of some of these!

We even got to take our cooked pizzas back to school and had a lovely picnic in the sunshine! What a fabulous morning!
