Learning about schools in China
Mrs Lymath's son, Joe, came to talk to the Reception Class abut his time teaching in China. We looked at lots of films and pictures and noticed that some things were the same as in our school, but some were different. The children in China ate their school lunch with chopsticks and then settled down in bed for a sleep before starting afternoon school.
We then changed our role play area into a Chinese restaurant and practised taking orders and eating with chop sticks.
