Welcome back!
Firstly, we would like to thank all the children and families for their kind wishes and generous presents this Christmas.
Please remember to return green Record of Achievement books back to class with any parental comments added at the back of the book. Our PE days are normally Tuesday and Friday so please ensure fully named PE kits are back in school and keep encouraging your child to get dressed independently at home.
This half term our topic is all about space, aliens and rockets. Stay and Play will be on Tuesday mornings from the 21st January.
We will be working on numbers above 10 this term - number recognition, ordering and also simple addition and subtraction problems.
We continue with our daily phonics sessions and new sounds are added to sound books weekly. Please continue to read with your child and write any comments in the reading records provided. Library books are also very important and can be changed daily in school.
