A lot of the children did some super descriptive work in English last week following our trip to Crosby Beach.
We've chosen one which really captured the moment and took us back to our fabulous day:-
"I could see the golden sparkly sand and the lonely Iron Men standing on the sand and looking at the ocean. I could hear the waves crashing on the golden sand and the seagulls squawking around the wide ocean. I could feel the barnacle-y body of the Iron Man and the tickly sand. I could see the horizon shining across the sea and the sand and the golden sun was shining very brightly across Crosby" Ben, Year 3
