Remembrance Reflection
We had a very thought provoking time with each class visiting the Remembrance Reflection. We learnt about jobs women and children would do (Windows), how the soldiers would feel (mirrors) and said prayers of thanks and remembrance. We thought about how we might achieve peace in our lives (door).
"I was thinking about the people who fought in the war for us and to say thank you"
"I thought it helped me remember the people who died for us"
"I learnt that someone who lived in my house died in World War 1"
"The remembrance reflection was good, I realise how terrible war was and how important it is to remember"
