We are so excited to have won an anti racism poster competition. The winning design by Joel is displayed for all to see on the police cars of Merseyside.
Just fantastic. If you don't know who Walter Tull is.... he is the inspiration for Joel's poster. Walter was the first black officer to lead soldiers to the front during World War One and he was an inspirational footballer who achieved great things at a time when there was so much injustice. We must all fight to ensure that justice and equality win each and every time.
Please don't forget to book a place at our workshops which focus on routines, wellbeing, bedtime, toileting and all things linked to children! Details in the newsletter.
School will be closed on Monday 19th September. This is a public bank holiday to mark the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth.
Our Deepest condolences go to the family of our wonderful Queen.
We will be having special activities today to remember her gift of service to the whole country and beyond.
At the end of the day we will share a time of special worship together.
On Sunday we will hold a special church service in our school hall. Back to school Sunday will be combined with a special time of commemoration and remembrance.
May you rest in peace your Royal Highness and may you rise in God's most glorious light.
God Save the King.
School starts on Thursday 1st September.
We are so looking forward to seeing you all.
