w/c 24/11/25 - This week we have been continuing our Antarctic adventures. We have made slushies as part of our expressive arts and design lesson, we have been busy painting the animals we might see in colder climates and have been exploring the type of clothing we would wear when its cold. In maths we have been learning all things composition of number and have had so much fun playing number games on the computer. in RE, we have been looking at the meaning of birthdays and considered the birth of Jesus as part of this.

W/C 17/11/25 - This week we have been super busy learning all things shape and positional language. We have been on shape hunts, created repeating patterns with shapes and been using shape to print the 2-D version. In our English and topic lessons we have been learning about Antarctica and a Penguin called Jonty. We have been super busy with our outdoor learning particularly looking at the frost and ice.

W/c 10/11/25 - The Scarecrows Wedding !

w/c 3/11/25- We have had a busy first week back with all things Scarecrows Wedding, composition of number in maths, bonfire night, lots of themed continuous provision and reading !

W/c 20/10/25 - We have had a lovely week with our nature walks, all things 1 more and 1 less in maths and of course our lovely stay and play sessions. Thank you for attending and I hope you all have a lovely half term. See you on Tuesday 4th November :)

w/c 13/10/25 - We have had such a fun week learning about the seasons and our new literacy topic 'Stickman'. We have been continuing with our repeating pattens topic in maths to imbed our learning and enjoyed getting the parachute out in PE! :)

w/c 9/10/25 We had such a busy week. We have still been looking at Africa and Handa's Surprise, acting out scenes from the story, making African necklaces and been measuring soil as part of our maths activities.

We have had an African themed week whereby we have read the story 'Handa's Surprise' , looked at Africa as a continent , tried different fruits from the story and been busy with African animal sorting and comparing in maths ! :)

W/c 22/9/25 - We have been having so much fun outside, learning all about animals and their young, matching and sorting in maths and practicing our letter formation as part of our phonics lessons
