Autumn Term - Welcome to Year 4

We are happy to welcome you into Year 4. This year, the teachers are Mrs Afford and Mr Vernon (Thursdays).  Our teaching assistant is Mrs Westby.  Mrs Owen will be taking some children for interventions and supporting us in the afternoons (Monday-Thursday)

PE is on Tuesday and Thursday and PE kits should be worn to school on those days. Please ensure trainers are black or white and for sport rather than fashion. This term the children will be swimming on a Thursday and should still come to school in their PE kits, bringing their swimming things with them.

Spellings are given out and tested on a Friday. Please ensure your child has their yellow spelling books in school on a Friday, ready to add the new spellings for the coming week.

Spring Term - Happy New Year!

We are so happy to have you back with us following our Christmas period. PE remains Tuesdays and Thursdays (appropriate school kit, shoes and no earrings/jewellery). Choir is still on weekly (Tuesdays) and an optional Basketball after school club is going to run until the Feb half term. Homework club is now invite only - please only attend if you have been contacted in regards this. 

We are lucky enough to be having music lessons run by Sefton Music Services this half term. Once you have returned your rental letter, you may have a brass instrument to take home and practice. Use it with care! Spellings are to be tested Fridays. Homework is to be given on Fridays and is to be handed in by Tuesday.
