Homework

If your child is quarentining or awaiting a Covid test, please find their daily and weekly lessons on the relevant pages, just as it was during our school closure last term. Please use the blue exercise book that was sent out earlier in the term.

We are all thinking about you and look forward to your safe return.

Welcome to Year 4's Homework page! laugh

Each week we will send out spellings and your child will have highlighted those they are to learn. These will include Spelling Passport words which will be in bold.

Your child will also have a purple Homework Book in which there are tables, spelling and reading tips and guides.

Each week there will be a new homework page which will contain Maths, English or Topic- based activities. There is also a Maths Work Book but this will not necessarily be sent out each week. The page(s) to be completed will be written on the homework page.

Please can parents sign their child's book each week next to parents' signature?

Thank you

National Sports Week At Home

With young people set to miss out on their main school sport day this summer, the Youth Sport Trust is taking its annual National School Sport Week campaign beyond the school gates to parents and families - reinvented as National School Sport Week at Home.

Taking place from 20 to 26 June, the UK-wide campaign will give families, communities, schools and sports clubs the chance to capture the enjoyment, competition and camaraderie they have been missing out on during weeks of school closures and social distancing.

Please send me photographs of you completing the challenges!

Welcome back Year 4!

We really hope that you are all keeping safe and well, and managing to get outside to enjoy the sunshine!

It is so lovely for you to be here again as we share in our Home Learning together. It is still a strange situation we are all in, but we are so proud of each and every one of you for being so sensible and wonderful. smiley

As usual, you can find your work using the links at the very top of this page.

Please let us know how you are and send us some photos of what you have been getting up to at home, or perhaps post them onto our class blog on Purple Mash! We love to post your photos on our Year 4 page and celebrate your achievements together as a class.

Until we see each other again, take care,

Miss Byrne and Mrs Afford xxx

You can view all of the entries to the 'My Life in Lockdown' Competition on the English/Photographs and Displays page (linked below)!
