Visit to The Salvation Army Church
Year Two visited the Salvation Army Church on Shakespeare Street last Monday.
The children had a fabulous time and learned a lot about the church and their charity. They all had a chance to dress up in both the old and current uniforms. Then to their delight they had the opportunity to 'play' some of the brass instruments. The Tuba was their favourite being larger than some of them!
The prayer room was the overall favourite of the children and staff alike. It was a lovely tranquil room which provided a peaceful place for reflection and prayer.
