Reception Class Photo

Welcome to our Reception class page. We hope you enjoy the journey that your child goes on throughout their first year in school. It will be a very exciting one!

We aim to update the web page frequently to show each and every step that takes them on that journey, so please check back from time to time. 

 

Just a few points to note: 

PE will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please send in a clearly labelled PE kit. 

Water bottles are required daily- again clearly labelled. 

If you have any questions or need a chat, please do not hesitate to make an appointment after the school day.

Our First Day in Reception - Pretty as a Picture

Here we are enjoying our first school dinner .....yum yum!

Our Wow Walk around our School - inspired by "Wow!" said the owl.

Wow! We found a black retangle. Wow! We found a blue cirlce. Wow! We found a wooden rectangle. Wow! We found number 5! Wow! We found a brick rectangle. Wow! We foundsquares in the fence. Wow! We found diamonds and triangles. Wow! We found a triangle shape. Wow! We found a magnet shape which looks like a "C Wow! We found a square gulley. Wow! We found a zero shaped racetrack!

Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined their children for the story reading today on 19th October. It was a fabulous story called The Bumblebear - all about how looks can be deceiving!
