Homework will be given out every Friday, this will include a small book journal to complete, a 60 second reading comprehension, a page in the Maths Homework book and spellings to practice each week! Homework needs to be handed in on Wednesday latest so it can be marked in time to be sent out again. The book journal and spellings will be stuck in the purple book.

Alongside the weekly homework set, please also remember that your children will benefit from going on Times Tables Rockstars and Purple Mash, something that they love to do in school. Your children's logins and passwords are stuck on the front of their purple homework books. Please make a copy of these so year 3 can access the websites from home even when they don't have their homework books with them. Thank you!

IDL

The benefits of working regularly on IDL are well documented and so we hope that if your child has been given the opportunity to work on IDL in school that you will encourage them to access the website at least 3 times each week at home in addition to their time allotted in school. They do this independently at school and so it should be perfectly straight forward for them to do on their own at home although they may love to show you what they do! Passwords are on the front of their purple homework books for IDL too.
