Numicon Fun for Celebrating World Maths Day 2nd March 2016

During our maths lesson today, we used Numicon to help us think about numbers up to 10, doubling those numbers and understanding the characteristics and patterns of those numbers when arranged in order, single and doubled. We spent time looking at numbers bonds to 10 and 20, that is any two numbers that add up to make 10 or 20. It's really important that Y4 know these number bonds and can recall them instantly. Perhaps you can play a game with your child at home to see how well they know their number bonds and help their rapid recall!

Y4 think that numbers are fun!
