Visiting Speke Hall (17-6-14)

Year 4 had a fantastic day out today at Speke Hall. After a coach journey from school, we spent the morning being shown around the hall and gardens and learning more about life for children in Tudor times. We even attempted some Tudor dancing. After lunch (and the inevitable charge around the maze and playground to burn off spare energy), we started making our own Tudor clothes fresheners from oranges and cloves and then explored Tudor clothing thanks to some expert modelling from Faith and Elliott. As you can see from the pictures, a good time was had by all!
