Today I have set you a story writing task on Purple Mash. You can write your story about a dinosaur if you would like to or you can choose to write about something else. I can't wait to see them - it's great writing stories on Purple Mash because you can illustrate them too. Have fun.

In school today and tomorrow we are going to be writing a story about the adventure the dinosaurs went on on Monday. Look back at the sheet you filled in on Monday to help you.
Today we will be starting our story and describing the setting.
Tomorrow we will be writing all about the adventures the dinosaurs got up to.
Remember
- capital letters and full stops.
- say your sentence before you write it
- read your sentence to check it when you have finished.

BREAKING NEWS
The bucket of dinosaurs has been found!!! Our lovely cleaner found it behind the bin. I have no idea how it ended up there! Was it you? Did you hide them?
Let's take the dinosaurs on an adventure.
If you have a dinosaur you can take it with you, if not just pretend.
We are taking our dinosaurs around the school grounds so you could go on an adventure in your garden or bedroom, it is up to you.
Fill in the worksheet all about what you saw and heard etc.
We will be using it later in the week.
