🎉 St Philip's Church School Admissions: Myth-Buster! 🎉

Myth 1: “You have to be baptised to get in.”
Not true!
Baptism is not required for admission.

Myth 2: “You must follow a particular world faith.”
Nope!
We welcome children and families from all backgrounds, beliefs, and none.

Myth 3: “You need a sibling already at the school.”
Not a requirement!
While siblings do receive priority, it’s absolutely not needed to apply.

Myth 4: “You have to attend church to get a place.”
Definitely not!
Church attendance is not needed for admission although children who do attend our church or a local Christian church at least once a month will receive a priority.

So how do most families get in?

📍 Distance – Most places are offered simply based on how close you live to the school.
👨‍👩‍👧 Siblings – Many others get in because they already have a child here.

And what do we need to know about you?

💛 Just the basics!
We don’t need to know anything about your religious background or personal beliefs.
We are a warm, inclusive community and we welcome everyone.

We are delighted that you are considering applying for a place at our Church of England Primary School.  Whilst the documents below are comprehensive, there is nothing better than a good look around and a chance to chat to our staff and see our pupils in action.  Come and find out why our Christian vision and  values make us such a special place.

Please telephone our office on 01704 535737 to arrange an appointment with our Head Teacher Mrs Edward.
