Welcome to the Year 1 class page.

In Year 1 we have 2 class teachers; Mrs Klaassen who works all day Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings and Mrs Parsons who works the rest of the week. Our class TA is Mrs Wareing.

Please do make an appointment to chat to us after school.

We wish all our children and their families a happy and healthy New Year.

We look forward to seeing you all back at school on Tuesday 9th January to hear all your exciting holiday news.

Our new topic for Spring 1 is The Beatles.

Please bring in anything you can find about 'The Beatles' and the city of Liverpool. 

You are all welcome to come to our class assembly on Friday 2nd February at 9am in the school hall. We will share some of the things we have found out about our new topic.

   Infant Christmas Party - Monday 18th December

Children to come dressed to party and bring food to share.

Letters have gone out.

National Poetry Day - Thursday 28th September

We listened to Edward Lear's poem, 'The Owl and the Pussy Cat'. We made our own model to retell the poem.
