    Children in Need celebrations with a visit from Pudsey. The School Council voted to wear pyjamas for the day in exchange for £1. Well done everyone!

    The School Council feel very strongly about Positive Mental Health and decided to host a "Chill and Chat" session for the whole school on World Mental Health Day; 10th October 2019. We read the story "Scrambled Heads" and discussed our feelings, moods and how they can impact upon our actions.

    Book Donations for our Book Trolleys

    A big thank you to all the families in our Koinonia who have donated books to stock our Bus Stop Book Trolleys. These trolleys will be brought outdoors during playtimes so that children in our school can relax with a nice book during their break. A special thank you to Mrs. Dando who has donated £25 for one trolley for our Infants. We really appreciate you getting behind the ideas of our school council.

    We were delighted to support a fantastic charity MDUK which is very close to our hearts here at St, Philip's. One of our amazing pupils lives with MDUK every day. His classmates wanted our school to support his charity to fund vital research into the condition. They felt so strongly about it that they pitched the charity and a "Go Orange for a Day" event to all schools in the Southport Learning Partnership. The schools unanimously voted to support MDUK. Our impact was immense when we worked together. Please see the certificate below.
