Class worship- Friendship

Our first worship group of the year was on our school value of 'Friendship'. The worship focussed on the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, from the Old Testament book of Daniel, these were three Jewish men who survived being thrown into a blazing fiery furnace. The children thought about times where they might need to show courage, stand up for their friends and how we should act in school to ensure that we treat others kindly.
